Vandalising Trains is bad!

Welcome fans of Kitaro62!

I'm back here posting another blog again, which I had just took notice this morning. This time is a group of 2 people tried to film themselves vandalising trains in Asia, including Singapore. The duo are named Utah and Ether (not their real name). Recently, I've found them uploading of how they vandalised Hong Kong MTR Trains, which was later reported by South China Morning Post.

Then, I went to read the news about it and happened to see their site. Then, I start to take notice that they even film Singapore too.

The duo vandalised trains all over Asia and they had never get caught since they fled off the vandalised trains. They escaped from their hometown in the United States of America since 2011 in the midst of serving their probation. They went to Asia and continue to vandalise trains.

Even in Singapore, the unsolved 2011 train vandalism case has also came to light. The affected trainset was confirmed to be C751B 311/312, named as 'Jet-Setters'. They vandalised car 3311 and they cut the fence of the Bishan Depot to gain access to the depot.

Here's a screen grab from the video the duo vandalised the Singapore MRT Trains, and the trainset identified as "3311" (if you could brighten your screen).

(Screengrab from Utah and Ether's video)

Vandalising trains are bad! This is because they will make you ended up in prison serving your sentence and worst, you would get both fines and caning. So, please do not vandalise anything at all. In Singapore, there are 4 cases being reported of train vandalism between 2010 - 2014. Vandalism is also a serious case as it cause damages to the property.

I hope that someone could report to the authorities of the duo vandalising trains. Cyrreltly, Utah's whereabouts is still unknown.

No videos published because of computer malfunctioning

Apparently, you don't see me uploading any videos because my computer has malfunctioned. Currently, I am finding a solution to get it work again because it has been already a week I am not upload any videos. Because of the computer suspension, I could really not video tape any trains because my phone has less storage and could not upload longer videos or too many videos.

I sincerely apologise for the great inconvience for you. The next video will be published on YouTube is once my computer is back running to normal.

Kawasaki Heavy Industries/CSR Qingdao Sifang C151B

It has been over a year since the first C151B arrives in Singapore. To date, there is no news known about the new C151B although they had been kept in the depot for 1 year without mainline testing at all.

C151B's main reason of retaining in the depot because it is pre-installed with Thales SelTrac CBTC Signalling (New Signalling for NSEWL & TWE) and there is no Legacy Signalling system installed (Westinghouse Signalling) in the train at all. New Signalling for NSL will be implemented in 2016 (later this year) while for EWL will be in 2018.

Only after NSL Signalling has been implemented, then the C151B can start mainline testing without passengers. The whole process would average out to be at least 3 months of testing. So, do expect the C151B to be debuted either this year or 2017.

Overall, C151B is the First NSEWL Rolling stock to feature the new SMRT Livery since it was first delivered. The train would come in with the new SMRT STARiS 2.0 (introduced in 2010) and the interior design is based on C151A design. C151B would be using Electric Doors instead of Pneumatic Doors which are being used by the NSEWL descendant's fleet (C151/A, C651 & C751B).

I do have exterior images of C151B and also the closeup images of the identification number. See pictures below.

That's about it. I will post a new blog if there's any news about C151B coming out on mainline tracks for testing.

About Me

Welcome to Kitaro62 Trains!

I'm Kitaro here, a Singapore Trainspotter (or Railfan), who likes to venture around Singapore just to look for trains!

I first gain interest since June 2010 because of a train (C151 047/048) got vandalised. After watching the video numerous times, I began to get a hang of Railfan and I got into SGTrains Community since 2013.

There are certain rolling stock I like, while some I don't.
Like: Kawasaki Heavy Industries (C151, C751B), Siemens C651 & Alstom Metropolis (C751A , C830)
Dislike: Kawasaki Heavy Industries & CSR Qingdao Sifang (C151A, C151B), Alstom Metropolis (C751C, C830C) & Bombardier C951

During the times in SGTrains, I went down to do some trainspotting and also spot the latest advertisements. Overall, it is quite pretty good to be part of a member there. Because of unknown circumstances, I left SGTrains in 2016 and the reasons I would not disclose it. On top of leaving SGTrains, I began having problems with myself and I started leaving my good friends, taking only those friends I knew them longer than them.

I'm now currently pursuing on my studies and some train videos will be uploaded from time to time. I'm running this YouTube channel on my own without anyone helping me.

I choose not to be in any community because there are cyberbullying around especially Singapore Bus Enthusiasts, which they chose to fight over for nothing. Even small matter can become big. I'm not affilated with any other channels at all, so this is the only channel I'm running on my own.

Hence, if you do want to be my friend, do leave me an email at spartandts@gmail.com with your name, interest and brief description of yourself. I'll take less than 1 week to respond to your queries.
